Zo Has More to Say — and So Do We!

March 17, 2012

Check out another straight-talking video from PJTV’s Alfonzo Rachel:

Obama Wants You to Open Your Hearts and Minds to Derek Bell, But What Will You Find?

Zo’s recent rant to African-Americans who have sold their souls to the Democratic Party is a fitting sidebar to our last post about radio host Thaddeus Matthews’ inexcusable on-air abuse of  Congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann.

In the world of liberal Democrats (including those African-Americans who blindly owe allegiance to the Democratic Party),  all whites are racist and Republicans are the worst racists of all. Republicans are also hateful and greedy.

No matter if Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican. And outstanding thought leaders like Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams? Well, forget them.  Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele? Congressman Allen West? Condoleeza Rice?  Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas? Alan Keyes? White men’s tools, all, according to folks like Thaddeus Matthews.

What courage it takes to be Charlotte Bergmann! What character, conviction, and   determination it requires to run in Memphis, Tennessee for a Congressional seat against liberal darling Rep. Steve Cohen. This, folks, is truly “audacity of hope.”

For me, it’s always been character that counts, and this lady has it in abundance.

Romans 5:3-4 says it all:  . . . Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope.

My own character has been strengthened through suffering. I see  people all around me in Memphis who have suffered so much more than I, survivors of experiences I can hardly imagine, but brimming with grace and wisdom.  And hope.

People like Charlotte Bergmann give me hope that even in Memphis, the deepest wounds can be healed. With God’s help, all things are possible.

Pray for Memphis.
